Day 71- Inside of flower

This is a flower that I have growing in my garden in the backyard. I just love the way the middle of it looks! It's amazing all the detail it has.

Day 70- Little and Big

I got to babysit my little niece today and I had Nathan take a picture of her hand in mine. It's hard to believe something can be so tiny!!! I had a blast with her today and the time flew by!

Day 69- Rio Samba open!!!

My first Rio Samba rose opened!!!! Isn't it beautiful!! Just so happens I took this picture right after a rain storm! I'm so happy I bought this rose bush!

Day 68- Rio Samba

This is my first rose bud from my new rose bush!! I'm super excited to see what it looks like when it opens!!!

Day 67- The view from a door

I was standing in my kitchen yesterday morning and the front door was open. I was thinking how pretty the view was from there with the morning sun shining and just a tad bit of fog left. I grabbed my camera and this is the shot I got.

Day 66- Another great sunset!

Couldn't pass up posting this picture. I am very blessed to live in a spot that I get to see all these awesome sunsets!!!!

Day 65- Azalea's

This is an azalea bush in my neighborhood. I love the color of them!! It's great this time of year because there are so many pretty flowers blooming everywhere!

Day 64- Fog

The fog was so thick that we were down to less then a 1/4 mile visibility. It was the perfect setting for a horror movie! LOL!! I took this picture sitting in my truck on the way to work.

Day 63- Petunia

The glorious color of flowers!!! This is the inside of a petunia. I took it at my brothers house. I just love all the different colors in it!

Day 62- Rain, rain........

Yippee for rain!!! We have been so far behind in rain that it's nice to finally get some! It has been raining here for the past three days. This was a photo of the rain that had collected on my rose bush! I'm sure it's happy for the rain too!

Day 61- Baby Feet!

My new little baby niece was born yesterday!!! Today I went to the hospital and took some pictures and I thought this would make a great picture for the day!!!

Day 60- Bobby Bob

This Bobby Bob. He is a 19 year mandrill. In the wild they live to be around 20 but in captivity their life span is 25-30 years old. Today he was really showing off for everyone!

Day 59- Solaris

This is Solaris and his dad, Doc. Solaris is a five year old Bornean Orangutan. His dad is under the blanket! They all love to cover their heads ups. Today he was really getting on his dad's nerves and his dad kept pushing him down. Little Solaris just kept getting up and doing it all over again. He doesn't know how to take no for an answer! LOL!! Sound like any 5 years you know!!!

Day 58- Inside of flower

You are likely to see a ton more of these from me. All the wild flowers are starting to bloom and there are photos opps every where I look. I absolutely love the way this one turned out!!!

Day 57- Bee in motion

I was lucky enough to get this shot today. I was at my brother's and there were all these bee's in their bushes. I just sat there and waited until one landed and I was able to get this great photo!!

Day 56- Just me

This is a picture that Nathan took of me. We were in downtown and he wanted to take pictures. We were walking back to our vehicle and I told him to take a pic of me looking up at him in the mirror. So he took a picture of the mirror hanging on the wall and not actually of me! I think it turned out pretty cool!

Day 55- American/Texas Pride!!

It was such a beautiful day today and these flags really looked great against the blue sky. The top one, for those of you who don't know, is the American flag. Day 54- The back is just as cute!

Jiggs likes to be on the lookout when we are outside. I thought why not do a back of the head shot! I think he looks just as cute from the back as from the front! Then again, I'm a little bias!!!

Day 53- Awesome Sunset

I was super close to missing this awesome sunset last night!!! I got up to close the blinds and saw this!!! The top picture was taken first and the bottom one was taken about a minute later. I just stood there and kept shooting until all the red was gone!! It was even more amazing in real life!

Day 52- Orangutan

This is one of the female orangutan's at the zoo. She is around 25 years old and has a five year old. This was her taking a break while daddy was attending to the youngster. I hope to get a pic of the baby soon..he is super cute!

Day 51- Cheetah's

Here is a picture of a couple of cheetah's. These guys thought I had some food and kept watching me. This girl in front even tried to sniff my camera! It's interesting that they have them in with some African Shepherd Dogs. The reason is to show that in Africa instead of killing the cheetah's the farmers are getting these dogs to keep them away from their livestock. The dogs are domesticated and seem to get along well with the cheetah's.
