Day 104- Sewing

Well I've decided to finally tackle my lace curtains. I was given eight panels a little over a year ago. I got them hung but they were all way too long and some needed to be re-sewn at the top. I left them hanging the way they were because I didn't want to mess with them. I am a novice sewer so I was a little scared about messing them up. I decided that they just needed to be done and it doesn't matter what they look like when I'm done!!! So far so good!

Day 103- Watermelon

I love that it's watermelon time again!!! This is a seedless one I bought and boy is it good!

Day 102- Crepe Myrtle

My crepe myrtle's are finally blooming!!! Yippee!!!!! I've been seeing all the ones in my neighborhood blooming but mine. I just love the big bright blooms they produce. I have two pink and one white white.

day 101- Baby Feet

I took my niece on a photo shoot in my front yard. She is three months old and this was the first time her little feet had ever touched grass!!! She was so cute too. She had her little toes squirming all over the place! The dark spot you see on her left foot is a birthmark.

Day 100- Nosy

Well I finally made it to day 100!!!! I figured since I started out with a picture of Jiggs on day 1 I should have another one of him on day 100. Doesn't he have a cute nose!!!

Day 99- Pretty Cloud

This was taken right before sunset. We had some storms in the area and they made for this beautiful cloud!

Day 98- Hibiscus

This is my hibiscus. I just love the beautiful big flowers that this plant produces. The color is wonderful too!!!

Day 97- Fresh Raspberries

I just love fresh raspberries!! Kroger, which is a local grocery store, had them on sale for 99 cents so I bought a ton of them! Yum!!!

Day 96- Jiggs.....again

I know it's a little blurry but I couldn't resist posting it. I cracked up when I saw it on the computer screen. He was outside playing and I just stuck the camera under him and snapped. This is what I got!

Day 95- Aphid

I am always battling these little buggers. They are actually kinda funny if you watch them. When you get close to them they go sideways and under a leaf to try and hide from you. It took me a little work to get this picture because he kept running from me but I finally got it!

Day 94- Topsy Turvy

I decided to try out this topsy turvy upside down tomato planter. I have to say so far it's working great. I have a couple of cute little tomatoes growing on it! It's easy too, no weeding required!!!

Day 93- Gladiolus

I have some gladiolus growing in my flower bed and I just love them!!!! This is one of my favorites. The color is beautiful. I wish they bloomed year round! I got the blubs at the dollar store a few years ago and they never fail to bloom! They are must have in any garden!

Day 92- Me and my cousin

I've just gotten home from visiting my cousin. She is in the one in the pink and I am in orange. It's a blurry picture and there is a finger in the way. My seven year old little cousin took the picture!! I think she did good for a seven year old though!!!

Day- 91 Cool looking bug!

I found this little guy in my rose bush pot. I don't know what he is but I thought he was pretty cool looking. I would like to know what he is so if anyone knows please let me know!

Day 90- Festival Fun

Here is another picture from the Strawberry Festival. While we were there a storm rolled up and brought us some nice cool weather!

Day 89- Strawberry Cake

We went to the Strawberry Festival and they h ave this wonderful strawberry cake. The cake is in the Guinness book of World Record in 2005. It's so yummy too!!!! http://www.strawberryfest.org/events/cake.html

Day 88- Orange Tree and Vinca

This is an orange tree that I've had planted in this pot for several years. I get oranges from it every year. This last year some vinca that I had planted someplace else decided to transplant itself! I didn't know vinca would do that! I love how it looks with the tree though! I wish all flowers were so easy!

Day 87- It's all about the hair

I have that kind of hair that you either have to work hard at to fix it or throw it in a ponytail. There isn't any of that washing, letting it dry on it's own and it looking good. I have super thick hair and it tends to have a mind of it's own. It seems that the hairdresser does too! Every time I go and ask her to do something she always puts her own twist on it. This was my last haircut that I had done a few days ago. The back of my hair will do OK but if I were to show you the front view you'd scream!!

Day 86- The tops of trees

Went for a walk and looked up and thought, hey this would be a great picture! These pine trees were so tall it made you dizzy looking up at them.

Day 85- Orange Blossom

This is an orange blossom on my orange tree. If you look real close there is a tiny spider on the leaf. Click on the picture to make it larger and you will be able to see it better. I didn't realize there was a spider on it until I looked at the pictures on my computer!
