Day 135- New Purse!

Check out my new purse!!! Nathan doesn't like it....he says it looks like something I bought at 7-11!! He says the color is ugly. Men! I think it's cute and I got it for 50% off!!!!

Day 134- Awesome rain clouds!

This is from the storm we had last night!!! It was a doozy and made for a great picture!

Day 133- Pretty toe!

Day 132- Cornbread

I made some cornbread in my new castiron !!! Doesn't it look yummy!

Day 131- Banana Pepper

Awww, I love summer peppers!! This is one of my peppers growing on my banana pepper bush!

Day 130- Oranges!

These are the oranges growing on my orange tree!!! I have two of them but only one ever puts oranges on. I can't wait for them to become ripe!

Day 129- Eat cake!

We had our friend's children's birthday parties at our house yesterday. This was their youngest 1st birthday. He really knows how to eat cake!!!!!

I went to the cemetery to visit my dad and decided to share a picture of his foot stone with you.

Day 127- All the pretty colors!

I found this leaf today while walking Jiggs. I thought the colors were very pretty so I picked it up and brought it home!

Day 126- Pretty Girl!!!

This is my four month old niece! Isn't she a cutie!!!!!

Day 125- Wild Flower

We were waiting on the ferry and these beautiful flowers were growing along the side of the road. I love how this picture turned out!!!

Day 124- My new glasses

Day 123- Go Mark!!!!

Mark Cavendish pulls it off again!!! This guy is just an amazing sprinter. Today he won his 4th stage of this years Tour of France!!!!!!

Day 122- Mystery pepper plant

While watering one day I looked over and saw this pepper plant growing out of my shrub. I have no clue as to where it came from or what it is!!! We have lived here for three years and this is the first time I've ever seen it!

Day 121- Pedernales Falls

This is a beautiful place to visit. Even more so now. Texas has been in an extreme drought and the water levels are way down. If you look at the rock here you can see where the water levels are usually. This is Pedernales Falls in Texas. Its a long hike down and on the way down this lady was coming up and had to keep resting. She stopped to talk to me and tell me that she had just scattered her husbands ashes there. It was his favorite place and that is what he wanted. I was so sad for her that she had to do it alone. I can't blame him for wanting it though, just look at the picture!!!

Day 120- Lake Travis, Austin Texas

We went camping over the 4th of July weekend to a place called Pace Bend Park. It sits on Lake Travis and this is the view we had every day of camping. It has tons of cliffs and we would go out and sit on the cliff in the evening and enjoy the hot breeze!

Day 119- Praying Mantis

This is the first time I have ever seen a praying mantis in real life!! They are so cute and he was very sweet to stand there and let me take a picture of him!!!!

Day 118- It rained!!!

Finally after over 30 days without rain, it rained. It was a true blue storm with thunder and lightening. I was able to catch this lightening strike. It's really bright isn't it!

Day 117- I've been published!!

As most of you who follow me know, I am a crafter. I try not to post craft projects here since I have a blog just for that but this news was just too exciting! I've been published in the September issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts Magazine. This is the card that is in there!!! I'm so excited!
